SUPREME COURT.
(BY TBLEGRAni. OWN CORRESPONDENT). Wellington, Last Night. At the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court, Judge Edwards runaiked that there was a lai>c number of cases of grave import. There was a curious charge of forgery and peijury agaiu-t one Amos Burr, who produced a receipt alleged to be made in 1872 bearing a stamp not issued till many years after. There were changes of stabbing, rape, criminal malpactic 1 , and tin Silverstream murder. He briefly reviewed the main facts in the last named.
