ST. PAUL'S CHURCH, CAMBRIDGE.

The annual harvest festival services were lnld in the above Chuici on Sunday last, the. edifice being very pretti'y decorated for the purpose. The preacher o:i each occasion was the R-v. L. Hud.on, the pastor of the Church, and he gave very clocjueut ami instructive discourses. Iu the morn ng he took his text. f:om the Epiet'e to the GaUthns, Cth chapter and the 9th verse: "Let us no!; te weary iu well do'ng ; for in dje sea on wei shall reap, if wo faint not," and in the evening from the Psa'm i.xv. 11 : " Thou crowned) the year with thy goodness ; and thy paths drop fatness." The workers who decorated the Church were Mesdamcs Hudson, Cuelworth, Kingdon and Fitzgerald, Mioses Mil'er, Nixon, Clark and Reynolds (2), Messrs Calcy, Butler and Chirk (2). The building is not one that lends its If easily to decorative purposes, but, nevertheless, it was made to look very pretty, the fruit and flowers being tastefully arranged, although we must admit there was a scarcity of the latter, but tint of course was due to the phenomenal drought we have lbtely experienced in the Waikato. The Church was tjuite full at both the services, in Let in the eve; mc, it was crowded. Some time next week the Rev. L. Hudson will be leaving for Dunedin, where the Conference commences on the 25th instant. He will p:obably be away nearly a month. During his absence the eei vices wi 1 be tak n by Mr Shepherd Allen i-f Moninsville, Dr. Hosking of Hamilton, and the Rev. S. Griffith of Te Aroha.
