The Government have resolved to run a candidate r.gaiust Mr Duthi.3 for the Wellington scat, rendered vacant by Sir Ro' t Stout's resignation. No final se'ection will be made urril all sections of the Liberals and labour parties have discussed matters. Mr Legrove, wh > was regirded as a probable candidate, announces that he will not stand.
