For Moanatairis as high as 10s was offered. May Queen Extended and Victoria shares had enquiry at late rates. Amongst Upper Thames lines there were inquiries for Waitekauris at 30s, with sellers at 38a, and Woodstocks 23s 6d. Investing stocks had a fair demand. National Banks were wanted at 44a, but no sales resulted ; New Zealaud Accident Insurance were dealt in at 22s 5:1; South Bitish were aiked for at ,503 6d. Buyers of Union Steamship shares advanced to £9, without any transactions resulting.
