The book was in her possession, and he never had the handling of it except when entries were made. Accused further stated that, he had signed the withdrawal slips in the inmo of VV. Hall, aud obtained sums of money from the bank, the latter having an authority in the name of N. Hall to pay over money to W. Hall from the account. Nathaniel Hall stated he had never given his wife or anyone else any authority to draw money from his bank account. It was nine years since he last withdrew any money personally. He had then betweeii £250 and £3OO. The case was not finished.
