DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLFR.

Napier, Last Night. A very old and respected resident, iu the person of J. W, Neal, died at an early hour this morning, aged 08, from pneumon'a following an attack of influenza.
Deceased, who arrived at Auckland in 1861, came to Napier three years later, aud his hern in business here in partnership with Mr Close ever since.
