AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Last Night. On tho Sharcmarket to-t"ay tin re was more enquiry for stocks at low rates, but tho feature of the quota'ions was the reluctance shown by holders to mention selling prices. Buyers of May Queens advanced to 6s without any shares beiug offered. Moanatairis were wanted at 8s 6d and Alburnias at 3s 4d, but no shares chai'ged hands. Upper Thames stocks had some attention. Grace Darlings were wanted at 2s and Pot tscas at 9(1, while 18s was offered for Woodstocks without the sellinu figure being quoted. Cheaper Waihi stocks also found buyers at low figures In Coromandel shares Bunker's Hills and Welcome Finds were inquired for at 7d and New Uolcoudas at ih<l, but no selling quotation was giveu for the two latter. Investing stocks are still neglected, 67s beiug the best offer for New Zealand Insurance shares, lis 6d for River Plate, and 3fs for Devonport Ferry.
