ARCTIO SUFFERINGS.
London, September 11. A &TORY of terrible suffering and death comes from the Arctic Ocean. The steam whaler Naurach was ( aught amongst drift ice. Thirtv-one of ihe crew were crushed and oleven frozen to death. A passing cutter observed the Naurach's signals of distress at Point Barrow, on the Alaskan Coast, and rescued the captain, his wife, two oiKcers, and foutsailors. Nine of the crew refused to leave the ship, and they are supposed to Lave perished.
