(BY telegraph—own correspondent). Auckland, Last Night. Business was fairly good on the Exchange to-day, and several stocks showed slight improvement. In mining stocks the best all-round demand was for shares in the Thames companies. Alburnias showed a further advance, sales being made at os 9d. This is an advance of Is in two days. Victorias were also in demand, and changed hands at 2s. There was a good demand for gas and lusuiance stocks, and sales in South British Insurance shares were made as high as 4t)s 6d.
