Kxtensive reclamation and drainage works carried out by the Government Lands Department on a large area of marsh land down at Tokatoka Swamp on the Northern Wairoa River, are now so far completed that the Government are throwing open several thousands acres of the block fur selection by settlers on the systems of cash purchase.lease on perpetuity and occupation with right of purchase.
