Giffron Hannali was resumed before His Honor Mr Justice Connolly and a jury of twelve. The claim was lor alleged evasions ot the customs duties. There were eight counts, the total amount claimed being £9OO. After a brief adjournment, granted at the request of the Crown Prosecutor, Mr Campbell, who appeared for the defendant, said he had conferred with Mr Tole, who had shown him certain papers on which the plaintiff relied. He (Mr Campbell) was satisfied that in some instances there had been incorrect invoices presented, but he felt that it had been done in ignorance on the part of the defendant.
