THE RECORD REIGN.
THANKSGIVING SERVICES. London, Juno 21. Thanksgiving services were held on Sunday in St. George's Chapel, Windsor, Westminister Abbey, St. Paul's and in the churches of all denominations in the United Kingdom. At St. Georgo's Chapel, Windsor, the Queen, fho Dowager Empress Frederick, Prime and Princess Christian, the Duke and Duchess of Conniiught, the Princess Bet trice, and Prince Louis of Battenburg, attended. At the conclusion of tLe service the Queen embraced her children and grandchildren. At Westminister Abbey the Dean (Dr. Bradley) preached. The Peers attended in their robes. At St. Margaret's Westminister the members of the Hottso of Commons attended. Dean Farrar was (he preacher. After the service the Speaker enter taincd the Colonial Premiers at luncheon. At St. Paul's there wais an impressive service, at which were present the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of York, the Duke of Saxe Coburg, the Duke and Duchess of Fife, the Duke of Cambridge, many members of ibe House of Lords, the Foreign Ambassadors, leading representatives of the professions, and prominent members of the operative classes. There was a procession of judges, sheriffs, and alderman, and the city guilds. The preacher was the Bishop of Adelaide, who paid a high tribute to the Queen, eulogising her patriotism aud philanthropy.
