(l!V TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT).) Auckland, Last Night. Tenders for the Gas Company's shares were opened to-day, when 1078 shares were tendered for, and tenders were accepted for 501 shares, the average rate for the whole accepted being £l4 lis Gd. No tenders were accepted below £l4 10s, and of those who tendered at £l4 10s only sixty per cent were allotted.
