JOHN FULLER AT HAMILTON
Last evening John Fuller's Myriorania Concert Company performed in Hamilton to a densely-packed house, standing room beiug scarcely obtainable. The " Trip Bound the Olobc' is most interesting, and at: the same time highly amusing. It is nil("oubtedly the most, complete tour yet fhown in this disttict, while the storm at si a scenes,snow-falling, etc., have a magical effect and must be Seen to be appreciated. .Space does not allow our dealing with die programme at any great length, but sulliee it to say that the company received a most, hearty reception, and every item was received in a most cnthu.sii.stic manner. Auckland's favourite baritone, Mr Reginald Birch, sang " B : d lite to Cove," "The Village Blacksmith," and the charming little melody " Limb," tor which be was deservedly encored. The popular soprano, Miss Katie Fit/.patriek, oontril.uted '• Calvary." (which was illustrated with beautiful pictures of the divine tragedy); '' Killarncy," with scenes ot the lake. .She also appeared with Mr John Fuller in that sweet little duet, " I've Wandered in Dreams,'' and by special request sing the present craze, " The Sunshine of Paradise Alley." The popular tenor himself received a w aim welcome, and for " Sally in Our Ally," he was obliged to icspond to an emphatic recall substituting '* We Don't Know How We Love Them Till We Lose Them." His 1 est e-llort, however, was " Ben Boll," which he sang with great feeling, and n fused to reappear when called upon. " The Bia'h of Ne'son," beaut'tully illustrated was given in a most thrilling manner. Miss LyiFa Fuller received quite an ovation (or her recitaion " The Lifeboat," which was listened to with breathless attention. Here also the illustrations add: (1 much to the charm cf the storv. The limelight apparatus was in tin c-apab'e hands of .Mr John Flora, while the descriptive portion of the entsrlaiument sparkling with anecdotes, well told by Mr John Fuller kept the audience amusied throughout, ami in the best of humours. To-night the talented e anpany appear before our Cambridge friends, to whom we can confidently reeommedil the entertainment.
