Dance recital

Students of the "Raylene Sue School of Dance" performed a very entertaining public recital recently.

The preparations for the recital, held o n November 12 at the Raetihi P r i m a r y School, meant practise during Weekends as well as normal classes during the week. The items in the recital varied from classical ballet to modern jazz, modern classical, barn dance to rock 'n roll. Prizes were presented to the winners and posies were given to every student. The student's "Miss Raylene" was

later presented' with two bouquets of flowers. Raylene said that the support of the local people really boosted the students' confidence. Winners Diligence - Tiny Tots, Erin Martin, Jrn - Megan Enright, Int - Emma Blinkhorne, Snr - Debbi Summerhays. Effort & Improvement Tiny Tots Shayna Perkins, Most Improved Jrn Jessie Ryland, Most Improved Int - Trudy Graham, Achievement & Commitment Snr - Mandi Harford.
