WORST DAY OF MY LIFE
Thursday 10.25am I left the classroom for interval. The school secmed hot inside but it was windy outside. Fifteen minutes later I had moved myself from outside the classroom to the yellow shed where the caretaker leaves all his tools. I saw Immanual Hemera standing up a grey pole and leaving it to stand in the wind. The pole was about two and three quarter metres high. At the tip of the pole was a bit of steel sticking out with a point on the end. 10.44am standing about two and a half metres away from the pole somebody from Waiouru pushed the pole over in my direction. Malcolm, who was standing beside me, yelled out,"watch out!" In that second I reversed myself but not far enough. WHAM. The pole struck me. Walking towards some steps outside two creamy-coloured classrooms. I felt the pain in my right leg. I looked at my shoe and watchcd blood dripping from it. Six stitches.
