Australia v Ruapehu
Ruapehu College was delighted to welcome a rugby team representing Coffs Harbour, Australia, last Thursday. The Australian Team are on a 16 day tour of New Zealand. They arrived in Christchurch, enjoyed skiing and jet boating at Queenstown and are now travelling north. They will play four school rugby teams and take part in many other activities as they tour. After two very exciting and competitive games at Ruapehu the results were: Ruapehu 1st XV 9, Coffs Harbour 6; Ruapehu 2nd XV 18, Coffs Harbour 17.
