The annual Ruapehu College inter-whanau cross-country was held on Thursday, September 22. The first placings were: Junior boys, Craig Maru; Junior girls, Tui Allen; Intermediate boys, Shane Whittleston; Intermediate girls, Moana Allan; Senior boys, Mark Evans; Senior girls, Janine Stephens. The top 10 runners in each division compete in the inter-school
cross country race in Wanganui October 5.
