COLLEGE HOSTS 500 SKIERS

This week's North Island Secondary School's ski races at Turoa Skifields are being competed by 500 young hopefuls. Over 100 teams have registered for the races that are hosted by Ruapehu College. A numhpr of prizes are up for grabs, including a prestigious trophy for the winning team and prizes of skis and ski gear for other qualifying teams. Last week organiscrs were optimistic that this year's event, which ends today, would be the most successful yct.
