CAS EXTENDED HOURS

The Waimarino Community Advice Service is offering the public extended hours in an attempt to provide the district with a better service. The advice service has been operating for the past four months and receiving several calls a week. Volunteers says the major of calls are of a serious nature concerning queries on health and welfare, budgeting and finance, family and legal advice and general information. The new opening hours, from 9.30 to 2.30pm weekdays, will aid those people needing to contact support groups operating away from the immediate area. In past months CAS has set up a family budgeting advice service, available to anyone interested in learning how to save or at the very least, find out where their monev is going.
