CHEFS APPLY FOR YOUNG ACHIEVERS' AWARDS

Turoa Lodge chefs Stacey Burford and Paul Haycock are among the 500 applicants for this year's AGC Young Achievers Awards. The pair plan to travel to Europe after the ski season to observe the world culinary Olympics in Germany as well as visit cooking competitions in France. The pair have been successful in a number of New Zealand culinary competitions including the Taupo Trout Salon Culinaire, where they were awarded gold and silver medals for their dishes.
