RAETIHI TROPHY DISPLAY

Hunting trophies will again be on show when the Waimarino Club, Seddon Street Raetihi puts on a display during the FIS International Ski Festival next week. Deer, thar and boar heads will be gathered together at the club along with mounted fish and birds. Videos and slides of pig and deer hunting will also make up part of the show. Department of Conservation officer John Heaphy and Waimarino Deerstalkers Association members, who held a weekend trophy show recently , will help in holding the event. Monday August 8 is openiong day and the show runs until August 15, 12pm till 10pm daily.
