REYNOLDS APPLIES FOR DEALER'S LICENCE

Reynolds Equipment Ltd has applied for a motor vehicle dealer's licence. The Raetihi company is a separate firm from Reynolds Motors Ltd which was placed in receivership earlier this year and closed last month. The application is the second from the company, the first having been turned down in June. Mr Trevor Reynolds said last month Reynolds Equipment Ltd would initially apply for the licence because the company needed to be a licensed dealer to transport the farm equipment they sold. He also said there was the possibility of taking over some of the operations of Reynolds Motors Ltd if the licence was granted.
