FERTILISER SPEAKER
A fertiliser expert is to speak to a meeting at the Waimarino Club Hall this Thursday, 7.30pm. Dr Bert Quin, Technical Services Manager for Challenge Fertiliser Limited will speak about reactive phosphate rock as an alternative to superphosphate. According to Dr Quin New Zealand sheep and beef farmers have saved $20 million and could save $80 million through the use of the fertiliser.
