TOP CLIMBER SPEAKS AT PEAK SOCIAL EVENT
Top woman climber and Outdoor Pursuits Centre Director Jo Straker was the guest speaker at the New Zealand climbers' social event of the year last Friday. She spoke to the gathering of the Canterbury Mountaineering Club in Christchurch where the mountaineer of the year award was presented. Nic Cradock of the Mount Cook area was named the Macpac Mountaineer of the year.
