PIGEON POACHER POTTED
A 25-year old local man was apprehended by Park Rangers and Police, while hunting native pigeons in the Tongariro National Park. The man was hunting the birds with a .22 rifle. He is remanded in police custody to face charges in the Ohakune District Court at a later date.
