DANGEROUS PLAY
Ohakune Police have issued a strong warning to children on the dangers of throwing stones and other objects at junction boxes along the Main Trunk Line. Several children were reported to be hurling stones at an exposed junction box at the Ohakune Railway Station on the weekend. Police Constable John Fraser said such action is looked upon very seriously by the Police as there is a high risk of death or serious injury because of the high voltage running through the overhead lines.
