WELL WOMEN'S CLINIC

Waimarino women are welcome to call in to the one-day 'Well Women's Clinic' to be held at Waiouru Wednesday March 30. The clinic has been organised by the Waiouru Health Watch Committee. Co-ordinator for the day is Public Health Nurse Anne Whyte with help from Maternity Annexe nurse Lyn Bryant. The clinic offers free health checks including cervical smears, breast examinations, blood pressure and blood sugar checks. Information and pamphlets will be available on contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, as well as practical advice on breast self-exami-nation. The clinic is to be held at the Waiouru Community Health Rooms in Queree Drive, in the camp housing area. The services offered on the day are free of charge and all women are welcome to attend said Nurse Lyn Bryant.
