Not received

I In reply to the Waimarino Bulletin | questionnaire being de-

clined by Hukaroa Ward candidate Mr N o e 1 Akapita, I wish to state that the document was never received be me either at my home address or my office. It was only through another candidate's comments that I had any knowledge of a questionnaire and I thought that one to me m u s t still be coming. Therefore, under the circumstances that statement of decline was incorrect.

Noel

Akapita

Mr Akapita was not given a copy of the Bulletin questionnaire as he told the Bulletin, through an intermediary, that he would make his own statement rather than answer the Bulletin questions. The Bulletin agreed to this. Mr Akapita's statement appears o n page six.
