Break-in protection for shop window

The 'new-look' Robin's Nest in Seddon Street, Raetihi has strong steel wirernesh security screens on the ooor and the display windows. These measures have been taken after the shop was burgled twice over the Christmas-New Year period. Proprietor Robin Scarrow and her husband Allan constructed and installed the screens because they had "had enough". The shop has been broken into five times during their four years in business. ' The screens prevent entry but do not obscure the window displays.
