Waimarino golf club play
A par round was played in ideal conditions at the Waimarino Golf Club on Sunday 31 August. Results of the seniors competition were as follows: K. Summerhays 5 up. C. Turner and J. Summerhays on 2 up, J. Ennis. R. Southee and T. Tapp all square.
Junior results were: N. Clarke 2 up. G. lmhoff 1 up. T. Donghi and K. McDougall I down. Colin Turner scored a two on the ninth hole and Ken Summerhays won the roarer's mug. Next Sunday. 7 September. the competition will be for the Shakespeare Memorial.
