Courier van damaged

a Wanganui Couriers Ford Courier van was badly damaged when it went off the Parapara Road near Ohorea Station about 15 kilometres from Raetihi on Tuesday 27 June. The driver, Raewyn Edney of Wanganui, was driven to Waimarino Hospital but as there wafc not a doctor available she was taken to Wanganui. She was shocked and had a cracked vertabrae but was not seriously injured. The van, which was returning to Wanganui in mid-afternoon went over the side and was caught on a fence. The manager of Wanganui Couri.ers, Mr Ian Kerr, said she was lucky because there was steep drop below the fence. She managed to get out of the van and Doug Hall, an employee of Ohorea Station, began driving her to Raetihi. However, another Wanganui Couriers vehicle came past and continued the journey.
