BOWLING
The Ohakune Ladies Bowls team went to Wanganui, Durie Hill, last Thursday, and brought back the Simonson Cup, winning 29-21. The team was: V. Brown, skip; B. Hammond, 3rd; E. Allerby, 2nd; R. Kaiwhare, lst. Today the Ladies team play Taihape Ladies for the Pluck Cup at the Ohakune Bowling Club. There will also be an opening day for mixed open 4s on Sunday 3 November.
