GARDEN COMPETITION FOR OHAKUNE
A competition, organised by the Ohakune Garden Club, to find the three most attractive gardens within the borough of Ohakune will be held this spring. Each of the winning gardeners will receive a prize of garden shrubs or a voucher donated by the Ohakune Garden Club and Kunicraft Garden Court. In addition, the overall . winner will hold for one year an inscribed trophy donated by the Ohakune Garden Club. Gardens will be judged on lay-out, general maintenance and overall appearance. Every householder within the borough is eligible to enter. Entries to the Garden
Competition may be made by leaving your name and address at Kunikraft in Goldfinch Street, Ohakune. Only gardens for which an entry is received will be judged, there is no entry fee and the judge's decision will be final. Entries close on Wednesday 23 October 1985 and judging will take place during the last two weeks of October.
