OHAKUNE TRAFFIC OFFICER

Ohakune's new traffic officer, Ian Harrison, will begin work on 21 October. Traffic Officer Harrison joined the Ministry of Transport in Wanganui then transferred to the South Island. He has recently been in the Wellington motorway unit, said Traffic Sergeant Rae Aanensen, of the Wanganui Ministry of Transport. Traffic Officer Harrison has had about nine years in the service and will be of great value to the area, Sergeant Aanensen said. Ohakune has been without a traffic officer since Graeme Cole left on 1 9 July.
