Thursday is the last day for Ohakune ratepayers to. pay their bills if they wish to avoid a ten percent surcharge. The Ohakune Borough Council has advised ratepayers that all rates are due ori or before 31 January and — in accordance with the Rating Act — any rates unpaid after this date shall have a penalty charge of ten percent added.
