Two hurt in crash

Two people are in Wanganui Hospital after their vehicles collided into each other at a blind bend at the bottom of lakes road hill on Wednesday evening. Peter Deadman, of Ohakune has lacerations to a leg and face. Carol Biggs, from Auckland, who was working at Mr Peter Hammond's farm, has lacerations to the face, shoulder injuries and glass in one of her eyes. The accident possibly occurred because of the very narrow road and sharp bend, said Traffic Officer Graham Cole.
