Waiouru crash

A motorist escaped with minor injuries on Tuesday night when her Honda car was involved in a collision with a Mini five kilometres south of Waiouru. In Tuesday 's accident Miss Dillon was driving her Honda Accord north towards Rotorua when she was struck a glancing blow by a Mini heading south. The Mini was being driven by a 60-year-old Taihape man who was treated in Waiouru Hospital, but later discharged. Miss Dillon was taken to Waiouru Hospital, but was later transferred to Wanganui Hospital with a suspected broken leg. However, the leg was not broken and she was discharged from hospital late on Friday. Her car was badly damaged in the accident as it crashed through a fence and turned onto its roof.
