CONSTABLE INJURED IN SOCCER GAME

Constable Dave Glendinning of Taihape who was stationed at Waiouru before his transfer earlier this year, underwent surgery for a knee injury at the Palmerston North hospital following a soccer match between Taihape police and the local fire brigade two weeks ago. He is expected to be out of action for about four weeks. Constable Glendinning is also the Youth Aid Officer for the Waimarino area.
