Sunday 29 July Good conditions for the Rangiwaea Trophy Trophy — mixed 4 ball/best ball/par. H. Cranston and K, Tapp won the event 7nip, R/up F. Geraghty and J. Ennis — K. TeMoana and P. Fitzgerald, both couples 6-up. For men without women partners the D. Herewini/P. Garrett combination was best with 1 1-up. P. Goldfinch and J. - Summerhays 8-up. J. Summerhays hit a fine 71 off the stick to win the senior Haggle 7-up, followed by K. Tapp 4-up and A. k. Brown 3-up. Juniors P. Garrett was top of- the Juniors with a good score, 8-up. A. Christensen 2-up, B. Goile 1-up, 2's P. Fitzgerald.
