POOL
The annual eight-ball pairs interclub competition was played at the Cosmopolitan Club in Raetihi on Saturday and involved three clubs, the Waimarino, Ohakune and Cosmopolitan Clubs. Each club entered eight players split into an A and a B team, and the games were played on a round-robin system whereby everyone had six games. The winners were: ATeam lstTrevorand Noel Le Noel (Cosmopolitan Club). Runner Up Sandy Pedderson and John Kennedy (Ohakune Club). B Team Chris and Daudy Wise (Cosmopolitan Club). Runner Up Alan Briggs and Brian Spurr (Ohakune Club). A total of forty-eight games were played throughout the day.
