JUNIOR SOCCER

A practice and final trial game was held in Ohakune on Sunday 1 July to select the Under-1 2 Representative Team by the Tongariro Football Association. The Waimarino is strongly represented with the following players being selected: Duanne O'Brien (R), Anthony Callaghan, Junior Kaata, Regan Sue, Carl Ram (O). Nathan Donghi (R) was chosen as a nontravelling reserve. The boys will represent the Tongariro football Association at the annual tournament in Thames, where seven games will be played during the week commencing 20 August.
