Racing with BULLY

The softer tracks fooled a lot of people last week and at Trentham the track was probably more soft than easy. It was still hard to accept though that Miles Better could improve so much and give this very good field such a trouncing. , Still — that's racing. An improver to watch and it could win on a firmer track, is Rush Cutter. Also to impress was Lu. His race in the Chalmers Handicap was first class. Abit Leica tried a big run from the rear again

in the rich metric mile but . this time he just did not quite make it. I think the soft ground probably hindered him, for I am sure he is particularly promising. All credit must go to Idahos Gift though any horse winning twice in such a short time at Trentham must have something going. Up north Tullia and Lord Tempio are both ready to get back into the winner 's circle and Gay Tripper won't

have Fountaincourt to race against next time she steps out. This mare would probably be the most improved horse in the open class in the northern area. An up-date on the jockey's premiership reads as follows: D. Walsh 60, J. Cassidy 58, G. Phillips 56, P. Timms 56, S. Dye 54, M. Lyndon 54. Remember Bully tips them first and you will read it in the Bulletin.
