POLOCROSSE CARNIVAL

The Waimarino Polocrosse Club held its annual carnival at Trevor Berry's property recently. A successful weekend weatherwise but not so good as far as entries went with 8 open, 4 mixed and 2 learner's teams. The successful teams were Kuratau in the Open section with Hunterville runners up, Kakatahi 2 winning in extra time against Ngamatapouri. Kaktahi beat Rotorua in the mixed section and Ngamatea

won the learner's grade from Waitotara. The club would like to thank the following business's for their sponsorship: F.C.O.S., Taihape Vet Club, Bowaters Saddlery, Wrightson NMA, C & H Transport, H.E. Webb Ltd, Starline Services, Reynolds Motors, M.S.D. Speirs, Dalgety Crown (Taihape) and David Stroud. A great big thanks also to Trevor Berry who came to our aid with grounds.
