Waimarino Ladies Golf
Waimarino ladies golf held their opening day on Wednesday 14 March. The weather was not too kind throughout the morning with heavy rain. With four new members joining in the field of 34 players 'Greensome Four-
some' was the event and the results were as follows: Golfer/ Non-Golfer winner P. Burns and R. Ackroyd, runnerup J. Christensen and P. Kennedy. Two Golfers winner Jan Matthews and J. Turner, runner-up G. Fraser and Les Proude. Raffle: H. Koorney. Next week 1st L.G.U. 1st Stableford. Duty: P. Burns and Di Deighton.
