NURSE FAREWELLED

Mrs Dorothy Scarrow who was the Waimarino Plunket Nurse for 12 years and had been involved parttime for 12 or 13 years prior to that was recently farewelled from this work at a luncheon organised by the Raetihi Plunket Committee. Elected as the Waimarino representative on the Wanganui Hospital Board at the recent Local Body Elections, Mrs Scarrow decided to

retire from Plunket to devote her energies to the Hospital Board. Some 50 past and present Plunket mothers "attended the luncheon in Mrs Scarrow's honour. Raetihi Plunket president, Mrs Cathy McLean presented Mrs Scarrow with a Woolrest sleeper as a token of appreciation for her work over the years.
