College Gymnasium

"Strict rules... with exceptions for some." On the entrance door of the new gymnasium there is a poster stating the following rules: "No Food, No Drink, No Smoking and White-soled shoes only." Just recently, while attending a Monday night game of indoor basketball a young girl noticed a certain teacher come in drinking a milk shake and wearing shoes that were certainly not white soled. The young girl glared at the teacher a while then approached her and passed the comment "can't you read." The teacher's reply was "Oh shut up this is my gym." Well, correct me if I'm wrong but I did not realise she paid for the gym herself

... or is it because she is a teacher that she has the right to break the rules? I have noticed that these rules are adhered to by most — including 2-5 year olds who will remove their footwear before entering the gym — which is a good example coming from children of such a young age. So come on all ... if it's good enough for others to respect this lovely new gym it's good enough for you. Strict rules for all
