Racing with Bully
This coming weekend, we have the Whangarei Racing Club meeting at Ruakaka on Friday, and the Auckland Ra/cing Club along with the Otaki Racing Club on Saturday. Now that spring is well and truly with us, I suggest some attention be. giveri to those lists of horses
that have appeared over the ; last couple of weeks. This article is being written before the Hawkes Bay Guinea^ and what a disappointing number of acceptances the club got for this prestigious eveht. Seven starters only face the starter and although there are some really good ones in here 1 still think Beechcraft will win. Sweet Nell could go well fresh if accepted at Otaki and another speedster to watch would be Silver Hock. In the longer races we must give Rich Rogue and Capone a further opportunity to come up with a win and it could be pretty close
at hand. Bill Sanders at Te Awamutu has a promising 4 year old in Melvin and it would pay to keep an eye on this fellow on the Northern circuit. Anderil from the O'Sullivan stable has just started a new campaign and he generally wins early in his preparation, while the Jones trained Avago must win one very soon if there is any justice: Three to stay with over the next couple of weeks in this part of the North Island would be Double Trouble, Payco and Lackland. Remember Bully tips them firsL and you will find them in the Bulietin.
