Waimarino Mens Golf
A small field of 1 7 players enjoyed good conditions on Saturday 17 September. Best in a stableford competition were N. Black with 41, A. Berridge and T. Geraghty on 38 and J. Martin on 36. Twos were achieved by R. Wise, A. Condon and B. Cranston. Sunday 18 September saw excellent conditions for a field of 29 players. Top scores for the \d.ay were; ' senior, S. Magee 43, G. Allerby 42, S. Swarbrick 39 and F. Goldfinch 36. Theonly two was scored by R. Fearson. Junior scores; K. Woollet 39, N. Black, A. Berridge and B. Goile all 37.
With 3 exceptions, all matches are up-to-date with finalists or semifinalists found in all competitions. The finals of the club championships, McKay Cup and Mahar Trophy will be played on 16 October.
