Wednesday 31 August 2nd Par Round winner: M. Brown on countback from G. Geraghty. 5th Putting Round winner: P. Burns 30 putts. Raffle: B.B. Strachan. Two's: B. Brown. 9 Hole Player: 6th Putting Round winner: H. Koorney. Three's: Ann Roke. After an enjoyable morning of golf in overcast weather, the ladies joined together in the clubhouse with Joan Godfrey to farewell her and her family, as they are leaving the district and moving to Whakatane. The Club Captain thanked Joan for her service as a friend, member, and secretary. She will be sadly missed around the clubhouse.
